Makers of Angry Birds Movie 3 Release Poster Parodying Zach Cregger’s Weapons

The creators of the animated film The Angry Birds Movie 3 previously parodied the posters for Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three.

The creators of The Angry Birds Movie 3 have released a parody poster based on Zach Cregger’s horror film, retitled Resident Eagle. In the image, an eagle with a survival kit on its back takes the place of the horror film’s protagonist.

The authors also played on other elements of the original poster. Director Zach Cregger’s name was changed to Zach Egger, derived from the English word “egg”. The IMAX logo was replaced with Flymax, and instead of “outbreak”, the creators used the word “outbeak” by combining it with “beak”.

The poster is part of an advertising campaign in which The Angry Birds Movie 3 parodies major premieres of 2026. The animated film previously played on the style of Avengers: Doomsday, changing the title Doomsday to Boomsday, and also released a parody of the poster for Dune: Part Three.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 will be a continuation of the animated franchise based on the popular game series. The plot of the new installment jumps forward several years: Red and Silver are now raising three children, but family problems take a back seat when the characters once again have to save the world.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 will be released in international theaters on December 23, 2026.
