Mac DeMarco has shared a canopy of “Honey Moon” by Japanese music icon Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra, Happy End). Check it out beneath. The track initially appeared on Hosono’s 1975 album Tropical Dandy. Mac’s model was launched by Light in the Attic, the label that’s reissuing 5 of Hosono’s solo albums. These reissues mark the primary time the LPs have been launched exterior of Japan.
Earlier this month, Mac introduced the launch of his personal document label—fittingly dubbed Mac’s Record Label—and his first ever solo tour. Along the best way, he’ll play at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, happening November 1-Three at La Grande Halle de la Villette. Tickets are available now.
