Sabrina Carpenter shared photos of her Stevie Nicks-inspired Halloween costume on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 2, complete with a tambourine.
Carpenter wore a black hat and a black dress with flowing sleeves, echoing the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman’s signature look. In one photo, she holds the tambourine with her arms extended against a nighttime city skyline.
“Bev and a boy that’s fruity,” Carpenter captioned the post, referencing a lyric from “Go Go Juice,” a track on Man’s Best Friend.
The Grammy winner also joined friends for a Hairspray group costume. Carpenter teased her hair and wore a 1960s-style dress as Penny, Amanda Bynes’ character in the 2007 film adaptation of the musical. Singer-songwriter Amber Mark styled her hair and wore a suit as Penny’s love interest, Seaweed, while Carpenter’s friend Paloma Sandoval dressed as Tracy Turnblad.
Other celebrity Halloween costumes this year included Paris Hilton’s fourth annual Britney Spears homage and Kim Kardashian’s portrayal of her daughter North West. Keke Palmer’s tribute to Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson received Janet Jackson’s approval.
Last Halloween, the Girl Meets World alum performed at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on her Short n’ Sweet Tour, changing onstage into costumes as Wonder Woman, Barbie and Fred Flintstone. The tour supported her Billboard 200-topping albums Short n’ Sweet and Man’s Best Friend.
