Ariana Grande shared photos of her new bob and moments with boyfriend Ricky Alvarez on Monday, Nov. 2.

The 33-year-old singer and actress opened her Instagram gallery with a photo of herself embracing Alvarez and looking into his eyes amid greenery. Another shows her kissing him on the forehead. She captioned the post with a white heart emoji followed by three exclamation marks.

Grande first debuted the bob in late October. One photo shows a side view of the cut, which falls just above her shoulders, while a sideways selfie shows her wearing a white ribbon choker. She also shared a behind-the-scenes image of hairstylist Brandon Pietsch appearing to wash her hair.

“The bob is everything mommy,” actress Rachel Zegler wrote in the comments. Grande’s brother Frankie Grande added, “Cute happy girlie pop! I love you so!”

Another photo shows Grande holding Enthousiasmos, a culture magazine whose third issue features her Wicked co-star Jeff Goldblum. They became friends while filming the movies and later collaborated on Goldblum’s 2025 album, Still Blooming. Goldblum responded to her post with a series of revolving heart emojis.

The post followed Grande and Alvarez’s appearance at the New York City Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 1, where they cheered on runners. According to TMZ, influencer Ella Schweiger asked the couple to write an encouraging note for a stranger who had completed the 26.2-mile race. Grande wrote “You did it!” alongside a few hearts and signed it “Ari + Ricky.”

Schweiger later shared video of the encounter on Instagram, including the moment she delivered the note to a runner who was thrilled to learn it came from Grande.

Grande is preparing for the release of her film Focker-in-Law, which opens in theaters on Nov. 25. In early August, she announced she was taking “a step back” from public engagements amid “ongoing public scrutiny.” As part of that decision, she dropped out of the planned West End revival of Sunday in the Park With George, in which she was set to co-star.

Her eighth studio album, petal, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in July. In early September, she surprise-released petal (The Complete Live Album), featuring live performances of every track from the studio album.
