“Like AdBlock Stopped Working”: Players Review-Bomb Battlefield 6 After First Season Launch
The shooter’s user rating on Steam has fallen to 67%.
Negative reviews for Battlefield 6 have been steadily increasing since the first season began. Players are frustrated by the small number of maps and their scale, and many also criticise the still‑sluggish progression system. Above all, players are most upset about the cosmetic offerings and the relentless battle‑pass advertising that pops up at every launch and haunts the menus.
Pay $70 just to have the battle‑pass shoved in your face every time you launch the game. Brilliant.
“We preach realism and give players what they want — we even built our whole marketing campaign around that” — then they roll out a $25 battle pass with ridiculous skins and announce a battle‑royale mode 18 days later.
Too much Call of Duty in my Battlefield.
“The whole first season feels like AdBlock has stopped working.”
