Nintendo Switch 2 Emulator Shown Running Mario Kart World on PC
Nintendo exclusives can now be tested on PC.
A Nintendo Switch 2 emulator has recently emerged, allowing tech enthusiasts to run exclusive titles such as Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World.
A developer known as Takoroka warned that the current version of the emulator “requires many fixes.” Centro Leaks drew attention to the project and published gameplay footage from user SaoriYuki on a social network.
The video test of Mario Kart World running on PC has already gathered nearly 2 million views. Overall, the racing game can already run at 60 FPS, but brief freezes may occasionally occur due to shader compilation. It is unlikely that this has bypassed Nintendo’s lawyers, so players are concerned about the future of the project.

Developer Takoroka has already published the “eden-NX2” project for public access. Formally, nothing is being violated since the archive does not include copyrighted game files, and users will need to provide their own game dump.
However, Nintendo has previously attempted to crack down on emulators, succeeding in having several hundred repositories removed this summer.
