Hacker voices38 Fixes Critical Denuvo Bug in Onimusha Way of the Sword
Even owners of the licensed copy of the game face this issue.
Well-known hacker voices38 recently returned and announced a new victory. They successfully cracked Denuvo in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. In addition, they bypassed Capcom’s own custom protection, which apparently did not impress them much, calling it “Mumbo-Jumbo” in their manifesto.
Now the hacker has presented a fix for an error that caused crashes when launching a new game, an issue some users encountered. This particular error was not related to the crack by voices38.
Users noticed that some players reported crashes on the Onimusha: Way of the Sword forum on Steam. The profiles of those complaining featured a badge indicating they owned the game in their library, meaning this was not a case of pirates seeking help on the forum.
Players praised voices38 for doing the work of the creators of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A user named Zemanyak joked that the hacker is currently “writing code for GTA VII.”

Overall, Onimusha: Way of the Sword received “very positive” reviews from players on Steam. Many remained satisfied with the new installment in Capcom’s franchise.
