A phone-recorded copy of the trailer for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again has appeared online. The leak came from Jessica Jones herself, who returns to screens after a six-year absence.
Kristen Ritter, best known for her role as Jessica Jones in Marvel’s series, unexpectedly became the source of the leak for the Daredevil: Born Again season 2 trailer.
The actress shared a 20-second clip filmed on a phone to her social channels — the same excerpt that had been shown at a closed Comic Con screening in New York. Whether this was intentional or accidental is still unclear. The post was removed shortly afterward, but the clip quickly spread across social media, as often happens.
The second season is set to premiere in March 2026. According to writer Jesse Wigutow, viewers should expect a “powerful political drama” emphasizing intrigue and the clash between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, who now serves as mayor.
Marvel is confident about the upcoming season’s prospects and is already convening a writers’ room this week to begin full development on a third season, which is slated to premiere in spring 2027.
