Konami Makes Surprise Decision: Silent Hill f Soundtrack Won’t Be Released on Discs

The Silent Hill f soundtrack will not be released on CD or vinyl. The company has confirmed that all physical editions of the music have been cancelled, despite earlier pre-orders and official assurances.

According to the Japanese Silent Hill account, all physical editions of the soundtrack have been cancelled “for various reasons.” The publisher did not clarify what specifically prompted the decision. Customers who placed pre-orders will receive full refunds. The release had been scheduled for December 17, 2025.

Fans received the news harshly — such releases are valued not only for nostalgia but also as collectible items. Now the only way to listen to the music is to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition or buy the digital upgrade to the Deluxe version.

It is unclear whether the soundtrack will later appear on streaming platforms like Spotify. For now, Konami’s decision is considered final. The company has assured that refunds will be processed automatically, but the response from players and collectors remains strongly negative.
