Jump Space Adds Anniversary Update Ahead of September 17–21 Free Weekend
Keepsake Games has released an anniversary update for Jump Space and announced a free weekend running from September 17 to 21, 2026. The co-op space adventure remains in Early Access on PC and Xbox Game Preview.
The update replaces the previous cargo bag with a new inventory system that lets players carry more items. An auto-save feature allows crews to resume an adventure across multiple sessions, while the challenge rating now extends to level eight.
Players who join the game between September 14 and October 9 can receive a new helmet as an anniversary reward.
According to Keepsake Games, Jump Space has sold more than 900,000 copies since entering Early Access. Earlier additions included the Hammerhead ship, changes to looting, customisable weapons and combat improvements.
The studio says further story content, ships, enemies and mission types are planned across 2026 and 2027. The free weekend announcement gives players a chance to try the current game ahead of those additions.
