Journalist Reports Forza Horizon 6 PS5 Release Will Be Delayed
The release of Forza Horizon 6 on the PS5 may be postponed to early 2027 to coincide with the launch of the game’s first major expansion, according to The Verge journalist Tom Warren.
Playground Games recently reaffirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will launch on the PS5 before the end of this year. However, Warren believes the studio is not telling the whole story and will ultimately delay the release.

According to his information, the Forza Horizon 6 port will arrive on the PS5 in early 2027. The reason for the delay is the developers’ desire to synchronize its release with the first major expansion.
Forza Horizon 6 is immensely popular on Xbox consoles and PC, and the previous entry in the series, Forza Horizon 5, proved its strength on the PS5 after Microsoft released it on Sony’s console last year. As far as I know, the delay of the PS5 release is primarily related to the desire to synchronize it with the first expansion. The game was released on Xbox and PC on May 15, and its debut on the PS5 is expected within 12 months of release.
