Jaskier Will Appear in The Witcher 4, but Not Songs of the Past

Dandelion will appear in The Witcher 4, but he will likely not be in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past expansion, despite the fact that its events take place in his home region.

The final expansion for The Witcher 3 will send Geralt to a new open area, Letten, which is connected to one of his oldest friends. However, Polish voice actor Jacek Kopczyński, who voices Dandelion, reported that he recorded new lines for the character only for The Witcher 4.

As for the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past, the actor reported that he is still waiting for an invitation to the studio to read the script and record lines, as he has not yet been invited.

This seems strange because Letten is the bard’s homeland. Dandelion might only receive a small cameo, similar to Blood & Wine. At the same time, Kopczyński’s participation in The Witcher 4 is already confirmed by his own words.
