The release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 has been postponed again — it is now slated for November 19, 2026. Players recently started a “countdown” marking one year until launch.
There is, however, a caveat: this isn’t the first time fans have begun a “365 days until GTA 6” countdown, so some users remain understandably skeptical.
Participants in the discussion, such as Heathy94, speculate the launch date could be shifted once more:
By this time next year I’ll be sitting with a controller in hand, playing something else, and thinking: “Only six months left until GTA 6’s release in the second quarter of 2027.”
