Insider Reports Insomniac Games is Still Developing Marvel’s Venom
Some players continue to wait for a standalone Venom project.
Following several games in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, developer Insomniac Games turned its attention to a project centered on another famous comic book character. Marvel’s Wolverine is currently preparing for launch, and some players have already dismissed various rumors and insider reports about another project involving Venom’s adventures as unconfirmed.
Reports previously indicated that a hypothetical Marvel’s Venom could have been released as an expansion for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or as a standalone project in the vein of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Recently, Marvel’s Venom came up again. A player directly asked well-known insider NateTheHate if he had heard anything about such a project, and he replied, “As far as I know, the Venom game is still in development.”

However, NateTheHate explains that he does not yet know when Insomniac Games might officially announce the development of Marvel’s Venom and present the project fully. At this time, the Venom game (if it even exists) has no release date or release window, and the target platforms are also unknown.
Marvel’s Wolverine is expected to release on September 15 of this year on PlayStation 5 consoles.
