Insider Claims Mario Kart World Will Get Star Fox Characters via DLC

An insider claims that Mario Kart World will receive DLC featuring Star Fox characters while also hinting at a new game in the series.

When Mario Kart World was released last summer, players noticed that the game felt built for DLC. Several characters had few outfits, the open world felt quite empty, and plenty of empty space remained on the map. The game also lacked several racers from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Almost a year and a half has passed, but Nintendo has not yet announced any add-ons. Now, insider Malo932 claims that DLC is indeed in development. According to the insider, the game will feature guest stars from Star Fox, specifically Fox McCloud and potentially his friends. Meanwhile, Link and Isabelle, who appeared in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, will not be included in the add-on.

The insider also hinted at a new Star Fox game. This is currently just a rumor, so this information should be treated with caution.
