“While Resident Evil is the most recognizable survival-horror franchise, it has frequently drifted toward a more action-focused approach—especially from Resident Evil 4 through 6. The same critique applies to the Dead Space trilogy, which tends to supply more ammunition than necessary and prioritizes action set-pieces and spectacle over a sense of desperate, resource-starved survival.”
