In October players were reminded of Darkwood with the announcement of a sequel. Development is now being handled by Ice-Pick Lodge, known for Pathologic (Mor. Utopia), while Hooded Horse serves as the publisher.
The developers invite you to “explore new lands and waters, flee from unfamiliar creatures, and once again pray for the morning to arrive quickly.”
The story of Darkwood 2 takes place just a few years after the events of the first game but is not directly connected to it, so you can enjoy a gripping narrative and meet new characters whether or not you played the original.
