Total Chaos launched on Xbox Series X|S and is available on Xbox Game Pass, offering full Play Anywhere support across console, PC, and the cloud.

The project was led by Sam Prebble, creator of the shooter Turbo Overkill, and published by Apogee Entertainment in collaboration with Infogrames, an Atari label. Total Chaos began as a well-known WAD (level pack) for DOOM II and has been transformed into a next‑generation horror‑survival experience. The original mod was fully overhauled and ported to a modern engine.

Exploring the abandoned mining colony of Fort Oasis delivers a tense, immersive atmosphere that mixes exploration, resource management, close-quarters combat, and nightmarish enemies. The score was composed by Akira Yamaoka.

Total Chaos is a horror‑survival title in which the player enters deserted Fort Oasis, uncovers the island’s terrifying secrets, and confronts a reality‑distorting menace. You’ll need to scavenge supplies, craft weapons, survive encounters with hostile creatures, and manage your inventory while planning each action carefully.
