The franchise is set to return with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. The developers are revealing various pieces of in-game content.
The team behind Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era has already released a demo, yet they continue to share glimpses of the game’s content. Recently, they published a new promotional image.
This time the spotlight falls on Sister Deira:
“Many of Alvar’s people were separated from their loved ones after abandoning them and being altered by the Abyss. Although her elder sister chose to abandon Alvar for a far darker path, Sister Deira remains a guiding light for those who dare to face the shadows. Let us explore her story! ”
Though the people of Alvar emerged into the light, the magic of daylight itself remained beyond their reach. Undeterred, they formed a cult dedicated to the Sister-Mages, believing their envoy Eridor could bestow divine power through sacred masks.
When the Triumvirate outlawed the cult, the masks persisted. Serene Deira discovered her masks could dissipate darkness, weakening certain monsters. This gained her acclaim, while her sister Keiri rejected that path and embraced something far darker.
Specialization: Mask of the Sun
Begins with the expert-level spell “Arina’s Chosen.” This version of the spell grants the target +1 action point.
When cast, the spell’s effective power increases by 1 for every 3 hero levels.
