God of War Creator Questions Facial Animations in Marvel’s Wolverine
David Jaffe has joined the social media trend of mocking Sony and Insomniac.
Game designer, producer, and writer David Jaffe, creator of the God of War and Twisted Metal series, has criticized Insomniac Games and its game Marvel’s Wolverine.
Leaving aside all the talk about why women look so bland, what is actually wrong with the faces in this game? Both for men and women. They look completely unacceptable for a game from a Sony internal studio, especially from Insomniac. Back when I worked at Sony, if a studio faced a problem like this, a producer would contact a colleague from another team, and those who had already found a solution would come to the rescue. How could something like this ever come out from under the wing of a Sony internal studio?

When a commenter wrote that Wolverine would still be fun to play, Jaffe did not argue, but questioned whether it justifies its price tag.
Looks fun. Think it’s worth $70?
