The game will also receive additional cosmetic items.
On November 24, a free update for Ghost of Yotei will introduce a “New Game+” mode. It will unlock only after completing the main story campaign once. Alongside it, the update will add:
- An increased difficulty level
- Two new trophies
- A new currency — Ghost Flowers — redeemable from a special vendor for 30 new cosmetic items (new armor sets, weapon dyes, talismans, and more)
- The ability to upgrade existing cosmetic items
- New accessibility options
- A feature to replay story missions that have already been completed
Earlier reports indicated that Ghost of Yotei sold more than 3.3 million copies worldwide within its first month after release, cementing its status as one of the most successful games of 2025.
