Get Rich or Die — Cooperative Horror “The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu” Arrives This Summer
Co-op games are having a moment. At the Xbox Partner Preview, another cooperative-focused title was unveiled for fans of team play.
During the Microsoft Partner Showcase, a teaser debuted for a new four-player cooperative adventure. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu looks poised to capture the interest of genre enthusiasts and readers of H. P. Lovecraft — expect dread, chaos, and creeping insanity.
From ACE Team and publisher Nacon, the game casts players as treasure-seeking explorers who must rely on clear communication, mutual support, and wisely chosen weapons and gear. Expeditions push characters deep into the jungle where fortunes — or madness — await. Players will be forced to weigh greed against survival.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is slated for release in summer 2026. It will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and PlayStation 5.
