Games Workshop to Release Nehekhara Host Starter Set for Warhammer The Old World
A major reinforcement is on the way for the Tomb Kings of Khemri as the Warhammer: The Old World tabletop game receives the “Host of Nehekhara” boxed set, containing numerous skeleton warriors and skeleton archers alongside crewed chariots.
Fans of Settra’s undead forces in the Warhammer: The Old World tabletop game have reason to celebrate. During The Big Summer Warhammer Preview Show 2026, Games Workshop staff announced the new “Host of Nehekhara” starter set.

It contains 78 plastic miniatures: 36 skeleton warriors, 36 skeleton archers, and six chariots. The skeleton warriors form the backbone of the Tomb Kings of Khemri armies. Their locked ranks have repeatedly turned the tide of numerous battles. The new set includes interchangeable shields and a full command group. Furthermore, each warrior can be armed with either a spear or a khopesh sword.

The archers shower the enemies of Nehekhara with arrows from afar, bringing death. Players will be able to give them an individual look thanks to interchangeable heads and quivers, as well as decorative elements including arrows stuck in the ground and crawling scarabs.

The chariots are the pride of the Tomb Kings, racing across the sands to crash into the enemy with crushing force. The set contains options to build a musician, a standard bearer, and a champion. In addition, many other cosmetic additions are provided to detail the chariots and crew.

Along with the aforementioned set, the arcane journal “The River of Bones” will also be released. It tells the story of one of Settra the Imperishable’s armies heading toward the forest of Loren after devastating the Border Princes. The journal contains new rules for the Tomb Kings of Khemri, pieces of lore, and inspiring illustrations.
