Gamers Can’t Believe These Are Screenshots, Not Photos — “Korea. Il-2” Developers Astonish with Graphics Quality
Care has been taken not only with the exterior — the cockpit interior also promises a high degree of detail.
The developers of “Korea. IL-2 Series” have re-emerged with new updates. 1C Game Studios has chosen to showcase another aircraft model.
This time the spotlight falls on the F-86A Sabre — more precisely, its cockpit:
For the “Korea. IL-2 Series” simulator we selected a late-production cockpit variant that nonetheless retains the earlier, combat-proven Mark 18 gyroscopic gunsight from World War II. This pairing was historically used during the Korean War because the standard A-1 sight demonstrated very poor reliability in combat. That said, as a modification we plan to add the option to fit the improved A-1CM variant coupled with the AN/APG-30 radar rangefinder.
Some commenters reacted: “My brain refuses to believe this isn’t real” — the screenshots look like photographs of an actual aircraft cockpit.
