Gamer Leaves First Negative Review in Six Months — Fans Urge Valve to Ban Him for Lowering Omelet You Cook’s Rating
The community raised concerns about a player.
Omelet You Cook launched on Steam in June. This cozy roguelike cooking game garnered 100% positive reviews on Steam, but recently someone gave it a thumbs down.
However, a user under the name willis.veriness chose to post a negative review — other players (and the developer) did not approve of the action:
The game is fantastic. I’m simply trying to stand out.
In the comments, fans of the game began to criticize the player and report willis.veriness to Valve.
The developer of Omelet You Cook also responded — asking everyone to stay calm:
Hello, everyone! We appreciate your enthusiasm, but please be kinder. We’re grateful for such a positive community and would like it to stay that way. If I could close this discussion, I would — but as far as I know, only the author can do that.
