From Track to Public Roads: Assetto Corsa EVO to Add Free-Roam Mode
Assetto Corsa EVO is set to receive one of the most notable updates in the series’ history. The developers have revealed the Free Roam mode for the first time, showing players can leave the racetracks and drive on ordinary roads.
The team showcased the very first session in this new mode. At the outset, players will be able to access highways and rural roads surrounding the Nürburgring. The developers confirmed that Free Roam allows almost limitless exploration of the map — including sections intended for off-road driving.
The Free Roam update is scheduled for early 2026. The Free Roam gameplay segment begins at 3:30 in the published video.
