With support from generous gamers, the BrickBoy kit — which converts a Lego Game Boy build into a working console — will gain an add-on module that lets the device be connected to a monitor or television.

The BrickBoy crowdfunding campaign launched on Kickstarter on October 28, aiming to raise €100,000 (≈9,110,860 RUB).

The kit allows you, in just a few minutes, to turn a Lego Game Boy model into a functioning console capable of running various games.

With 11 days left in the campaign, BrickBoy has already raised €530,286 (≈48,313,615 RUB). Thanks to the funds collected, the team has added wireless multiplayer, Bluetooth controller support, a dedicated booklet, a set of interchangeable buttons, and other extras.

Most importantly, the team will also release an add-on called the Arcade Edition, styled like an arcade cabinet. This module will enable BrickBoy to be connected to a monitor or television.

Currently, the standard BrickBoy kit is offered at €139 (≈12,664 RUB), the collector’s edition at €169 (≈15,397 RUB), the “Gamer + Collector” bundle at €278 (≈25,328 RUB), the “2 Collector + 1 Gamer” pack at €437 (≈39,814 RUB), the Arcade Edition at €89 (≈8,108 RUB), and the Bluetooth controller at €54 (≈4,919 RUB).

Deliveries of BrickBoy are planned for March 2026. Trailers: Kickstarter video, device assembly, gameplay demonstration, Doom on BrickBoy.
