For Nintendo 64 Fans: Pre-orders Open for the 8BitDo 64 Controller in Classic Gray
In 2026, gamers nostalgic for the original Nintendo 64 controller will be able to add the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth controller in the classic gray finish to their collections.
Back in July, the 8BitDo 64 controller for the Analogue 3D FPGA console became available in black and white. It is also compatible with Windows 10 (version 1903 or later), Android 9.0 or newer, Nintendo Switch (firmware 3.0.0 or later), and Nintendo Switch 2 (firmware 20.1.1 or later).
Pre-orders are now open for the Bluetooth controller in the classic gray colorway, which pays tribute to the original N64 gamepad. The gray edition is listed at $44.99 (3,551 ₽).
The housing comes in gray and is accented by a red “Start” button, yellow “C” buttons, a green “B” button, a blue “A” button, a dark-gray D-pad and shoulder buttons, and a light-gray joystick cap.
The controller is fitted with a Hall-effect joystick featuring the original travel limiter and 8BitDo’s signature concave rubber cap. It also includes integrated rumble motors, a Turbo mode for automatic rapid-fire, and support for the 8BitDo Ultimate Software.
The 8BitDo 64 measures 140.8 × 104 × 60.5 mm and weighs 226 grams. Shipments to customers will begin on January 30, 2026. By comparison, the black and white variants are priced at $39.99 (3,156 ₽).
