Fixes Continue for the Plants vs. Zombies Remaster — ‘Sun Vacuum’ Added and Co-op via Steam Remote Play
Developers have implemented several features players had been asking for
The Plants vs. Zombies Replanted remaster drew heavy criticism at launch. The team listened to player feedback and began releasing patches to address issues.
The recent 1.4 update introduced a number of highly requested additions:
- Added Remote Play Together support: Steam users can invite online friends into the local multiplayer mode. The second player is required to use a gamepad.
- Introduced accessibility options: you can disable screen shake, slow down gameplay speed, and enable a high-contrast mode.
- Added a “Sun Vacuum” feature: pressing the right trigger (R2/ZR) on controllers or the spacebar on keyboard activates a vacuum that collects all suns on the level.
Additional hotkeys were also added:
- Tab — toggle game speed.
- Space — activate the Sun Vacuum.
- Number keys 1–0 can be used to interact with seed packets during gameplay.
