First Gameplay Footage of Neo Berlin 2087 Released

More than 15 minutes of pre-alpha gameplay for Neo Berlin 2087 have been released, prompting fans to compare the game to Deus Ex.

The developers of Neo Berlin 2087 showcased over 15 minutes of early gameplay, after which players compared the game to Deus Ex and the famous E3 demo for Cyberpunk 2077.

In the published footage, Detective Nolan investigates a mass murder of special forces members. Players will reconstruct the memories of the deceased and analyze neural data to uncover a conspiracy and find the missing daughter of the police chief.

Aside from investigations, the developers showed gunfights, the exploration of the megalopolis’s gritty streets, and switching between first-person and third-person perspectives.

The protagonist’s voice attracted special attention. Fans recognized actor Elias Toufexis, who played Adam Jensen in recent installments of Deus Ex. Cybernetic implants and a corporate conspiracy led many to call Neo Berlin 2087 a spiritual successor to the series.

At the same time, the version in the video is in the pre-alpha stage, which makes issues with optimization and animation smoothness noticeable.
