How long does it take to beat Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave?

To give you some context, I haven’t quite reached the absolute conclusion of the final arc just yet. Even so, the substantial time I’ve invested in the title so far offers a reliable estimate of its overall length. It took me roughly 115 hours to arrive at the third section of the final arc while playing on Normal/Casual mode. Prior to that milestone, I completed two and a half of the Part 1 routes (Leda’s, Theodora’s, and half of Cai’s) and ran through Part 2 once with Leda.

A single Part 1 route typically requires 40 to 50 hours, heavily depending on how much time you dedicate to recruiting allies, gathering resources, mapping out territories, and grinding for experience. Fortunately, subsequent Part 1 playthroughs go by much quicker. As for Part 2, wrapping it up took me just under 10 hours. While you have the option to bypass Part 2 entirely and skip straight to Part 3 to save time, doing so means missing out on valuable unit progression and crucial narrative developments.

We will refresh this estimate with a final completion time once the credits officially roll.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave quest list

The structure of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is broken down into one prologue, a single interlude, and three distinct parts. Each segment functions differently. While Part 1 offers entirely unique storylines and objectives depending on your chosen protagonist, you will experience the exact same campaigns during the Part 2 War Arc and Part 3 Salvation Arc, regardless of your prior choices.

Finishing any of the four Part 1 paths allows you to carry your recruited allies and gathered inventory over into the subsequent chapters. Furthermore, clearing multiple Part 1 routes grants you the freedom to select which iterations of specific characters you want to bring into the later stages. You can revisit previously completed Part 1 routes—or start untouched ones—even after entering Part 3. However, should you recruit brand-new allies or unlock specific features in earlier paths, those updates will only manifest in Part 3 once you have re-completed all Part 1 chapters.
