Final Fantasy VII Revelation, scheduled for release on April 8, 2027, will receive two story DLCs named Sephiroth and Vincent & the Trucks.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will receive two story expansions dedicated to Sephiroth and Vincent, with their release planned between the winter of 2027 and the spring of 2028.

The plans became known after yesterday’s State of Play. Game Director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed the development of the DLC:

After the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, we received many requests for DLC from fans and media representatives, so we decided to create them. Instead of announcing them only after release, we wanted to share our plans even before the main game comes out. We will delve deeper into the stories of Sephiroth and Vincent. We hope you are looking forward to it.

The expansions are called Sephiroth and Vincent & the Trucks. They will be included in expanded editions and the Expansion Pass, and will also be sold separately.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 simultaneously on April 8, 2027.
