F1 25 Receives Major Update With 2026 F2 Season
F1 25 has received update 1.025, bringing the complete 2026 Formula 2 season, updated F1 content, and a series of adjustments to physics, career mode, and steering wheel support.
Codemasters has released update 1.025 for F1 25, adding the full 2026 Formula 2 season, updated F1 content, and a range of changes to handling, career mode, and steering wheel support.
The headline addition is the 2026 F2 season featuring all official teams, drivers, and cars. For F1, the update refreshes the cars, sponsor logos, and special liveries, which will become available in the coming weeks via in-game mail. Certain team principals have also been updated.
Changes also affect the game physics. Boost now functions on wet tracks, while DRS and Straight Mode are active only when the throttle pedal is pressed past 90%. Race control messages and details for cars and tracks have been fixed.
Career mode brings improved tire allocation along with fixes for driver recognition and PitCoin issues. Completing the F2 season now grants a bonus when starting an F1 career.
Steering wheel support has been improved with better responsiveness, fixes for Force Feedback issues, and the addition of support for new Simagic hardware.
