Euro Truck Simulator 2 gets patch 1.57 with HDR, updated Scandinavia and dynamic loading and unloading
The developers have refreshed one of the older regions and added new content for players to explore
The beta phase has concluded, and the creators of the truck-driving simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have released update 1.57.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 now includes HDR support to enhance visual fidelity. This feature brings richer colors and improved contrast to the game.
HDR will be enabled automatically for players using HDR-compatible displays.
The update introduces new cargo for the Special Transport DLC and a reworked Scandinavia DLC — the road network has been redesigned, regional textures refreshed, and new objects added to the map.
Dynamic cargo loading and unloading have been added — a feature previously introduced in American Truck Simulator — so equipment will load or collect freight in real time.
Animations have been implemented at certain warehouses; for example, you’ll see them when delivering logs and pipes.
