Night Elves — also known as kaldorei or the “Children of the Stars” — are among the oldest and most mysterious races of Azeroth in World of Warcraft lore. They have played a pivotal role in the setting’s history and were the first elves to appear on the continent of Kalimdor.
Kaldorei are notable for their deep purple, lilac, or bluish skin tones, elongated ears, and glowing eyes. For centuries they remained a secluded, secretive people, preferring a life in tune with the natural world.
They revere the goddess Elune and maintain close ties to druidic traditions — males commonly become druids, while females are more often found as warriors or priestesses.
