Enthusiasts can now enjoy RTX-enhanced gameplay.

In late November, the team behind Dying Light: The Beast returned to the project and issued the largest update yet — version 1.4.

They introduced a New Game+ mode in which the protagonist keeps equipment, weapons, and progression while the overall difficulty increases. Loot will scale to match the tougher challenges. Each subsequent playthrough raises the challenge further and unlocks access to progressively stronger gear.

They also added “Legend Levels” — a system designed to expand your character’s capabilities beyond the core skill tree.

Ray tracing is now available in Dying Light: The Beast. It requires GPUs that support the feature and at least 8 GB of video memory. For 4K resolution, 16 GB is recommended.
