DOOM: Arena Board Game Gets Overview Video and Preview Trailer
This week, fans of the Doom Slayer will be able to pre-order the DOOM – Arena Board Game, so it’s a perfect moment to watch the preview videos dedicated to the project.
On October 28, Modiphius Entertainment plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign for two miniature-driven board games: DOOM – Arena Board Game, inspired by the iconic 1993 shooter, and DOOM: The Dark Ages – Arena Board Game, based on the most recent entry in the series.
To prepare the community for the upcoming crowdfunding push, the team published an overview video. In the clip, Modiphius Entertainment staff explain the rules of DOOM – Arena Board Game and display the game’s miniatures.
A preview video from the YouTube channel Foster the Meeple has also appeared online. Both DOOM – Arena Board Game and DOOM: The Dark Ages – Arena Board Game use the same core rule set.
These two-player games have opponents face off as either the Doomguy or a horde of demonic beasts, moving across hex-based arenas, employing a variety of weapons, summoning monsters, and rolling dice.
