Disney Twisted-Wonderland Season 2 Gets First Teaser

Disney+ has released the first teaser for the second season of the anime series Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation. The upcoming season is subtitled Episode of Savanaclaw and is scheduled to begin streaming in December 2026.

The new storyline centers on the Savanaclaw dormitory, which is themed after The Lion King. Its residents draw inspiration from Scar, the hyenas, and other characters from the animated classic. The season adapts the manga of the same name by Suzuka Oda, which covers the second main story chapter of the mobile game.

The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, focused on the dormitory inspired by Alice in Wonderland. It premiered in October 2025 and ran for eight episodes. According to Disney, Twisted-Wonderland became the most-watched Japanese animated title globally on Disney+ during its premiere week.

Disney has also confirmed a third season, subtitled Episode of Octavinelle. It will center on the dormitory themed around The Little Mermaid. A release date for the third season has not been announced.
