Players have unexpectedly stumbled upon a lucrative new season for loot farming.
Arc Raiders recently introduced its substantial “Cold Snap” update alongside the “Expedition” feature, which serves as the game’s local system for voluntary progression wipes.
However, the community quickly noticed that something was amiss with the blueprint drop rates. Items are currently appearing so frequently that social media feeds are being flooded with screenshots of inventories packed to the brim with rare loot.
To capitalize on this, players are flocking to maps featuring the new “Frost” weather mechanic. The prevailing theory among the player base is that this surge wasn’t a deliberate design choice by the developers, but rather a technical glitch.
This anomaly is also sending shockwaves through the underground economy. Black market “entrepreneurs” who sell blueprints for real money are now facing a massive supply glut. This surplus is expected to tank prices that, in some instances, previously exceeded the actual retail cost of the game itself.
