Diablo IV Performance on Switch 2 Detailed With Graphics Modes and Requirements
Diablo IV on Nintendo Switch 2 features two graphical modes, 40 FPS support, resolutions up to 1440p, touch screen support, mouse and keyboard compatibility, and cross-progression alongside cross-play.
Diablo IV is available on the console with the Age of Hatred collection and the new season. In Quality Mode, the game runs at 30 FPS, offering 1080p in handheld mode and up to 1440p when docked to a television. Performance Mode offers 40 FPS at 1080p in both modes. Achieving 40 FPS in docked mode requires a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz or higher.
The Switch 2 version also supports touch screen input, USB keyboards and mice, controller vibration, and GameChat. The game does not use the Joy-Con 2 mouse mode.

Linking a Battle.net account enables cross-progression and shared platform purchases. An active internet connection is mandatory, but a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required for the campaign, side quests, open-world activities, local co-op, leaderboards, and seasonal progress. A subscription is required for PvP and encountering other players in the shared open world.
