The game’s hardcore difficulty will be substantially reduced.
Prior to Escape from Tarkov’s November launch, the developers released a “softcore” patch. It introduces a set of adjustments aimed at making gameplay more accessible.
Nikita Buyanov of Battlestate Games published the list of changes:
· Reduced inertia — the greater the overload, the larger the reduction (inertia lowered by up to 70%).
· Carry capacity increased by 50%.
· Traders at loyalty level 2 now offer barter trades in exchange for tokens.
· Aim punch reduced by 60%.
· Increased the number of items in high-value loot zones.
· More containers with bags and additional stash spots have been added across locations.
· Weapon cases and other case types now spawn in marked rooms.
· Colored keycards spawn more frequently on the Laboratory map.
· All item types can now be listed on the Flea Market.
· The Flea Market becomes available at player level 10.
· Minimum number of Flea Market slots set to 5.
· Skill leveling speed has been increased.
· Experience multiplier for completing raids has been raised.
· Hardcore wipe achievements are no longer obtainable.
