Demon Slayer: The Infinite Fortress

Demon Slayer has added another milestone to its list of achievements.

According to Collider, Demon Slayer: The Infinite Fortress has entered the list of the 100 highest-grossing animated films in U.S. history, debuting at No. 99 — surpassing Snoopy and the Peanuts Movie and displacing Robots (2005).

Six weeks after its premiere, The Infinite Fortress has earned $131 million in the United States and $527 million overseas, bringing its global total to $659 million. Earlier, the film already became the highest-grossing foreign release in U.S. box office history — overtaking Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon — and set a new record as the top-grossing anime film of all time.

Notably, no other 2025 release has managed to break into the U.S. animated top 100. Even the massive Chinese blockbuster Nezha Conquers the Dragon King, which amassed $2 billion worldwide, drew less than $21 million in the U.S. and failed to register significantly.

Demon Slayer: The Infinite Fortress remains in theaters, so its position on the chart could still improve.
