Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back launches in 2027 for the PS5, bringing back Juliet for a new slasher installment alongside more than eight minutes of revealed gameplay footage.
Dragami Games fulfilled its promise to showcase the new game in the series at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Development is handled by the studio JP Universe, which includes Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV, and Masahiro Yuki, co-producer and writer of the original 2012 game.

Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back is a brand-new game in the Lollipop Chainsaw series.
Juliet returns in a brand-new outfit and with even greater power to a restored San Romero, transformed into “Jaredwood”—a massive metropolis built around the film industry. When a mysterious director traps her in his twisted zombie movie, Juliet must fight side by side with her allies, uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos, and stop a new zombie threat from the Corrupted Kingdom.
The release is scheduled for 2027, and attendees at Tokyo Game Show can play a demo until September 21. For now, the game is only announced for the PS5.
