Call of Duty: Warzone’s Run on PS4 and Xbox One Is Coming to an End
Call of Duty: Warzone servers on PS4 and Xbox One will shut down on November 6. The free-to-play battle royale will remain available on other platforms.
November 5 will be the last full day to play on the two consoles before their servers go offline.
In June 2026, Activision stopped players from downloading or reinstalling the game on PS4 and Xbox One and made its digital versions unavailable for purchase. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile had already shut down in April.
Warzone launched in 2020 and quickly became one of the most popular games in the Call of Duty series. Its free-to-play model and support for multiple platforms helped it attract a huge audience, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision to shut down the servers on the older consoles drew mixed reactions. Some players were surprised the game was still available on those platforms, while others were disappointed by the news.
