Cosplayer Portrays Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s Henry as a Seasoned Warrior

Cosplayer Evgeny “GraysonFin” Vasilyev has shared photos of his portrayal of Henry, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance protagonist who searches Bohemia for his parents’ killers.

Players continue to show interest in the action RPG’s world. The franchise’s fan base has grown following the arrival of unofficial multiplayer role-playing servers for the second game, which can accommodate large numbers of users at once.

Vasilyev published the photos for Kingdom Come: Deliverance fans. Photographer Sofia “CHATSKYPHOTO” Chatskaya captured him as Henry during the photo shoot.

Henry, known as Indřich in Czech, is the protagonist of both Kingdom Come: Deliverance games. He makes a long and difficult journey from a blacksmith’s son to a trusted squire and noble warrior.

Henry looks like a typical young European, with a somewhat plain face, brown eyes and chestnut hair. He combines youthful idealism and stubbornness with a deep sense of justice. At the start of the story, he is often hotheaded and naive, making foolish mistakes because of his inexperience.

After losing his home, Henry develops remarkable resilience, a commitment to keeping his word and loyalty to friends such as Hans Capon. He also has a down-to-earth charm, a sense of humor and a healthy dose of cynicism. The player ultimately shapes his moral character, making him either a noble defender of the weak or a pragmatic and ruthless mercenary.

Henry’s grounded, realistic nature sets him apart from more traditional game heroes. He is not a chosen one and has no magical powers. He starts with no skills, so players must learn alongside him how to fight with a sword, read books and even maintain his hygiene to avoid putting off passersby with the smell of sweat.

By the second game, Henry has grown from a helpless boy into an experienced warrior. In Kuttenberg, he faces a much larger war, betrayal and personal ambitions.
