Deified Sets September 21 Steam Launch with Relic-Based Tactical Combat
Unexpected and Goblinz Publishing will release Deified on Steam on September 21, 2026. The turn-based tactical roguelite will cost $14.99 or €14.99 before a 20% introductory discount during its first two weeks.
Players take the role of Sator, who challenges seven bosses after the Lords corrupt the Gold of the Rhine to create relics and curses. Building a successful run revolves around choosing those relics, restoring them and combining compatible effects.
Slots replace conventional resource limits
Combat does not use mana, action points or cooldowns. Instead, players manage slots that each carry a benefit and a drawback. Deciding where to place a relic becomes part of the strategy rather than simply equipping every available upgrade.
Matching fragments can be assembled to restore and strengthen relics. Collecting relics of the same type unlocks synergies, while skill trees and additional rooms expand the choices available in later runs. Boss-specific curses introduce further constraints.
Deified is developed by the French studio behind looK INside and As Far As The Eye. The announcement concerns the PC release on Steam.
