The runaway winner at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025 was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 — the title collected seven trophies and was the only game to win in every category where it was nominated.
Sandfall Interactive, the studio behind Expedition 33, was honored as Studio of the Year.
Hollow Knight: Silksong took home Best Indie Game (self-published) and PC Game of the Year.
Ghost of Yōtei earned the award for Best Sound Design and was named Console Game of the Year.
