Zealory Games’ upcoming action RPG Sleepless Wilds has drawn accusations of plagiarism over its physics-based puzzles and environmental interactions.

Chinese developer Zealory Games has caught attention for Sleepless Wilds thanks to striking graphics and mechanics reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which has already sparked plagiarism accusations.

Similar accusations were leveled against Genshin Impact several years ago. Now, a new open-world action RPG for PC called Sleepless Wilds has found itself in the crosshairs of Zelda fans.

The game features combat, though the primary focus rests on physics-based puzzles and interacting with environmental objects. Many observers compare these elements directly to Tears of the Kingdom, noting that the similarities appear more pronounced than those seen with Genshin Impact.

Sleepless Wilds will likely be a story-driven, free-to-play game utilizing gacha monetization, although Perfect World has not yet officially revealed its business model. Zealory Games, established by Perfect World, includes developers who worked on Tower of Fantasy.

A release date for Sleepless Wilds remains unannounced. Meanwhile, PC playtests for the game are set to begin in China soon.
