CD Projekt RED Adds BioShock 4 Writer Following Hire of Kingdom Come 2 Designer

CD Projekt RED is steadily strengthening its development teams as it prepares to tackle several large-scale projects simultaneously.

A week ago the studio added one of the lead designers from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to the group working on The Witcher 4. Now it has recruited Liz Albl, the lead writer on BioShock 4, who has joined the Cyberpunk 2 team as a senior narrative writer.

Albl spent nearly three years at Cloud Chamber contributing to BioShock 4; her credits also include Ghost of Tsushima, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Monolith’s cancelled Wonder Woman project.

Her departure from Cloud Chamber coincided with a period in which, after roughly ten years of development, BioShock 4 did not pass an internal publisher assessment — a result that led to team restructuring and shifts in leadership.

Cyberpunk 2 is currently in the early stages of development.
