Card Roguelike Dogpile with 96% Positive Reviews Launches on Mobile and Nintendo Switch
Publisher Foot Games has released the card roguelike Dogpile on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.
Dogpile combines deckbuilding systems with falling-block mechanics reminiscent of Tetris. Players play cards to drop dogs onto a playfield that gradually fills up. When two identical pets touch, they merge into a single larger dog. Players can spend earned money to buy new cards and upgrade their decks.
The dogs feature various traits such as fearfulness, sleepiness, or barking tendencies. Players can acquire new traits at the dog wash, while tokens modify specific trait effects to set up combos. Success requires managing board space and carefully choosing where to drop each pet to prevent the board from overflowing too quickly.
Dogpile originally launched on PC in December 2025. Since then, the game has accumulated around 700 user reviews on Steam, with 96% of them being positive.
